There are gears made of various
shapes and sizes that are used in many types of machines. These gears are
generally rotating wheel like circles with teeth and clogs that mesh together
and work to control the speed of the machine. When the term changing gear is
used it means changing the speed of the machine or the vehicle in which the
gear is fitted. This way the person using the machine or vehicle has full
control over the speed.
